TUITION

CLP Fee

The tuition for the certificate in Conservation Leadership is $2000 for MIIS students and $2500 for Non-MIIS participants. Four units of academic credit may be available at the normal Monterey Institute of International Studies rate.

Applicant Eligibility

Those with a strong interest in conservation and environmental management are eligible to apply for the CLP. Monterey Institute students in any degree program may apply. Outside participants who are advanced undergraduates, graduate students, or professionals are also encouraged to apply.

Academic Credit

Participants can earn up to 4 units of academic credit in conjunction with the Certificate in Conservation Leadership. These credits are subject to normal Monterey Institute tuition. Students who are not enrolled at the Monterey Institute may also avail themselves of this option. Please contact your home institution for eligibility.

International Participants

Participants who are not US citizens or permanent residents or do not currently hold a student visa are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas. For more information, please visit the site for US Citizenship & Immigration Services at: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

Housing

The CLP fee does not include housing costs and travel/personal expenses. The Monterey Institute Student Affairs Office and CLP can provide assistance with locating housing. Contact student.affairs@miis.edu for more information.
