Fellowships & Scholarships

A graduate education is expensive. Funding two years of study, including internship opportunities in international venues, takes considerable resources and advance planning.

While the Monterey Institute offers its own scholarships, many students may be eligible for external funding. These programs recognize past experiences, educational achievements, and interests.

The funding cycle - the time it takes from application to actual award - can be up to twelve months in advance. The funding cycle must be taken into consideration in your financial planning.

The Graduate School of International Policy Studies has researched a number of external fellowships and scholarships relevant to our students' interests, available to both US and International Students.

Although we encourage you to make the most use of these resources, the Monterey Institute is not affiliated with any of the organizations providing external funding opportunities.
