From basic resume writing workshops, all the way through to how to negotiate your salary, the GSIPS Career Development Office offers a variety of resources for those seeking internships and professional careers. Within your first few weeks of arrival on campus, you are encouraged to make use of resources such as career workshops, information on the Monterey Institute Intranet site, and of course the Fletcher Jones Career Collection in the William Tell Coleman Library.
Perhaps the greatest resource of all is the career staff. We are here to advise and counsel you in not only how to use the resources, but to also help sort out the type of career that suits your personal interests and goals. This is a multi-faceted and integrated approach to career development that requires students to make a significant commitment. Finding "just a job" is easy; developing a career takes focus, planning, time and energy. We are committed in assisting you throughout this process.
To launch your career development process, you can begin by reviewing the resources listed on the left-hand side of this page.
