Prior to applying to IPSS, an information session is offered early in the fall and spring semesters. These one-hour sessions familiarize interested students with the program, its expectations, and rigorous academic components.
It is recommended that students review the information presented on the IPSS website pages and familiarize themselves with all aspects of the program. Current Monterey Institute students can also visit the IPSS course conference on the First Class email system for program details and information about prior groups’ work and experiences.
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one must come from a GSIPS faculty member)
- Completed study plan prepared in consultation with GSIPS Academic and Career advisors.
- Academic transcripts
- Personal statement
- Completed application form
- Contact details on first and second choice organizations, ensuring that information provided is specific to the department or program in the organization
IPSS Spring 2010 Application
Applications for IPSS Spring 2010 are now being accepted.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 5:00pm.
Applicants will be notified by the IPSS Selection Committee by May 5, 2009.
